Lump of Coal

We forgot to mention this in our last edition. Usually at Christmas infrastructure vendors send us little goody bundles of candy, cookies and even bottles of wine and we cheerfully single out the best gift for a mention in our January edition. Last year IronPort won the contest, hands down, with a couple of boxes of delicious chocolate chip cookies — best ones ever. Well, this past Christmas we got nothing — Nada — no cheese, crackers, wine. Not one thing! Whatever happened to the good old tradition of influencing analysts through gifts of food? What with the recession and everything we get the point. Next year we'll settle for a cookie recipe. Maybe IronPort will tell us where we can buy those cookies ourselves.
